CHESS LESSONS

Chess has long been known as "THE GAME OF KINGS", and is also known to strongly benefit educational outcomes for children.

  • Cognitive Development: Boosts memory, improves concentration, and fosters logical thinking.
  • Academic Improvement: Studies suggest a positive impact on mathematical ability and reading comprehension.
  • Life Skills: Teaches patience, responsibility, self-criticism, and emotional regulation.
  • Social & Emotional Learning: Helps children cope with defeat, promotes discipline, and fosters respectful interaction.

Playing chess has been shown to have cognitive intellectual benefits for all ages.

I have been an accredited chess coach and local tournament director for many years.  I have worked with students from basic beginners through to experienced tournament players.
